I wish I’d snapped this from a better angle, it seriously looked so awkward and funny…like Asparagus had never held a kid before. And Breckin’s face…ahaha.

Hmm, he might have the same lips? Definitely has the same eye color. That darn dark blue eye color seems to be very, very dominant. Auntie Afton likes to hide her dark blues with pretty contacts.

The only reason this photo is here is because I freaking love her skirt. Oh, and to remind me that we need to start project “Find Afton a Boyfriend” which is ridiculously hard when you can’t tell them to do anything. I’m just going to have Asparagus dump her off at the park on her days off. Yep. That is so the plan.

After his walking session Blue joined his little brother at the learning stations. Yes, they did it all on their own – so cute!

Blythe: I was just making a pond for the ladybugs to live Aunt Afton. My rainboots will make it so my socks don't get all wet before school.

It’s a birthday party for Blue! The whole fam was invited, as well as Blythe’s friend Jean.

That’s Jean, she’s pretty adorable right?

She doesn’t seem to like the Gen 2 Bloom boys at all. What a little meanie! I have to admit she cracked me up though – possible mate? She looks a lot like Bambi though…anywho. CAKE TIME!

Aki was too preoccupied answering the house phone to come and sing happy birthday. psh.

Aki: Oooh, okay. I'll tell Mom & Dad that they died.

Blue: Smiling isn't cool.

Afton: Oh my goodness, such a sudden sparkley peaceful presence!

Afton: OH GOD! MOM!

Blair went willingly and Afton went in for one more hug (walkthrough glitch much?) and the kiddles sobbed uncontrollably.

Parkin: My heart is broken.

Parkin grabbed a slice of cake and then decided against it.

Parkin: This was her favorite toy..

Aww, my heart was breaking for Parkin. Look at that look!

Blue isn’t so tough (sorry, this photo should technically be before the last one because the cake is still on the counter. ha).

But he’s tough enough to have SKULLS on his comforter and sleep in his baseball cap. Watch out!

Blue joined his sister on the bus for his first day of school the very next morning.

Asparagus tries to be a good Dad (autonomously with Blythe) and comforts his children when they get home from school that evening. Afton is there in case things go badly. Isn’t she pretty in her pink scrubs??

Afton: I'm outta here.

Aloysius wasn’t present at the party where his Mom passed, but called to offer his condolences.

Parkin: Why didn't you just come over son? I bet I could see you if I look behind me.

He lives in that house behind Parkin.

Nothing too exciting happened the next day until Blythe’s birthday party at the pool.

Blue: Our Grandma just died.

Jean: Riiight. Time to go.

So Jean and newspaper boy left before the birthday girl grew up but that’s okay. Blythe changed into her rain boots instead of her swimsuit and jumped into the pool.

Blythe: Why did I do that?

And then our dear little Blythe grew up in a cloud of sparklies.

Her first autonomous action as a teen was to read a book on pregnancy. Which means it was in her inventory. Which means she read it as a child.

Asparagus: What?

Yeah, I have a feeling she’s gonna be trouble.

We’ll end with a well-lit CAS photo of teen Blythe. She’s now afraid of commitment..spurred I believe by her fascination with divorce seen in the previous chapters.

Meanwhile, Afton (the youngest of the A’s) has taken to sitting on the toilet like it’s a chair. Mental Breakdown?

One great thing about couples is that they can us the restroom even when their partner is in there with them. Isn’t love grand? There’s nothing to be ashamed of.

I suspect Baby B #3 will soon be on it’s way! These two aren’t wasting any time.

Know this: I cannot tell Bambi to go anywhere – I cannot control anyone accept Asparagus. So naturally I thought she’d be having another unassisted, outdoor birth.

Bambi: I'm walking to the hospital, duh. This kid isn't popping out on the sidewalk.

Bambi: Creepy, unrelated twin alert! Oh, this one's name is Breckin. He's not blue.

Breckin is an insane couch potato and tan like his mother. Blue is an insane genius…don’t think I’d mentioned that. Our other insane genius has taken a liking to the little genius.

Afton: No need to be scared little man.

The first time someone’s read to a toddler autonomously! Woo!

I forgot about Blythe’s birthday…so no cake for her.

Asparagus unfortunately never got around to finishing her skilling, so she had the athletic trait locked in. That’s not a bad trait at all! I could think of much worse ones to have locked in. Anywho, there she is. I can’t tell who she looks like…

I think I may keep Afton around for awhile, I like her and she’s very helpful around the house when she’s not having mental breakdowns.

Ah yes, Blythe has quite the personality. Notice the look Grandpa Parkin is giving her and the look Bambi is giving him. Totally made me laugh.

I thought Bambi and Blythe would be great mother-daughter friends like Blair and Afton, because they’re always interacting. BUT it always seems to end like this:

Bambi always seems to take a wrong turn in the conversations with her daughter.
But she does feel guilty about it.

It seems like everyone else in the fam likes Blythe.

Blythe: Grandma, did you know Daddy's a bad guy? You should know since you're a cop.

Parkin is either trying to be naughty or losing his mind due to old age…I can’t decide. But he’s still the privileged  adult who gets to take Breckin to his birthday cake.

Then he helped his little sister with her homework, I guess he felt bad for giving her such a hard time as a child. Wait…no. That was me – me telling him to tutor her. yeah.

Welcome to China! Asparagus had a package to deliver for work…that woman does not look like a criminal…well, neither does Asparagus and his oh so violet shirt.

The rest of the family was stuck at base camp. Why won’t sims ever leave on their own?? Free will EA, c’mon now.

Afton was the only one who made the most of her time, you go girl! Aki looked absolutely peeved. And so, Asparagus went “home” and then went to the market with the whole fam.

Afton had a want to read a full book, so she did! What a smart girl, seriously.

After returning the book to its shelf, she pulled out her Teddy and carried it all the way home. All together now – awwww!

Blair: What? I was hungry.

Aki had a bit of a problem back at base cap that night. It seems as though this long blonde haired fellow took that last available bed.

I know, I know…brushing one’s teeth should be a normal daily occurrence. Apparently not in the Bloom household though.

After they were all ready for the day, Asparagus took them to the martial arts center!

Almost all of them worked out all on their own! Parkin found the stereo upstairs and danced until he was super hungry. Psh.

Afton: Can we go home now? I miss school.

And so the Blooms traveled back home where they were just in time for Blythe’s birthday!

Bet you weren’t expecting the blondness, I sure wasn’t. She’s got Blair and Asparagus’s dark blue eyes instead of Bambi’s pretty purple ones. But she’s uber cute!

With that I’d like to welcome you back to this Insanity Challenge/Legacy of sorts…there was a hard drive malfunction leading me to believe I’d lost everything. But we’re back and it’s Gen A baby!

Blair is becoming rather grumpy in her elderly age. Is that the right word?

Blair: Bambi, why are you gallivanting about in your intimates? Are you some kind of floozy? I surely hope that my son didn't marry a hussie.

Bambi: Ugh, old people.

Aki seems amused by the bickering going on behind him. You don’t mind Bambi and her underwear do you, Aki? ha.

Bambi: I put some clothes on and now-oh hey Afton!

Bambi: ...she couldn't just walk through this door?

Aww leave her alone Bambi, she looks pretty embarrassed.

VOMIT

That’s pretty embarrassing too I suppose. After cleaning up, Bambi made her way to the giant living area and started playing the guitar.

Okay, so I was super stoked when someone played the guitar for the first time…but now it seems like someone is always playing. And you know what? Everyone stops what they’re doing to go watch! Irritating!

Ari happened to be home at the time and I’m pretty sure he’s secretly in love with Bambi even though their relationship barely registers on the meter. He’s her biggest fan. And that’s why he’s got to get a day job…

Ari: Very nice, I do enjoy playing chess and gardening.

Back at the house, Afton cleaned herself up after her accident but was taking awhile so Blair decided to check on her.

Afton: Oh, Mom wants to know why you called me and not her?

Parkin ran in his formal wear and Asparagus began training his Mum.

I guess that’s what you get for starting your athletic skillbuilding when you’re an elder? She needs body points for her job now so this way I could properly have her acquire them.

Bambi: HEY! That's why I threw up!!

Parkin, aren’t you super happy that you’re going to be a Grandpa?? It’ll be oh so fun.

Early the next morning…

Blair enjoys some mac and cheese for breakfast while Afton waits for the school bus.

Afton: OH MY GAWD! I am SO excited! Did you hear? I'm going to be an aunt!

Afton: Hi, was I yelling?

Blair: -gulp- I'm going to be a grandma?

Ari heard the news later…when he woke up. He had a long night of standing around by the science facility after he was hired and didn’t come home until he wanted his bed. Sorry.

Anyway, he seems to be having sympathy pains because I have no freaking idea why he was throwing up. I don’t think he ate anything that was rotten.

And then he tended the apple trees, lovely boy!

A super thing about this house is that Asparagus just runs along a sidewalk for a bit to get to work at the “abandoned” warehouse. Some flashing lights in the distance caught my eye so I zoomed in and…

No! I didn’t want  Asparagus to go sit in a jail cell for a day so I had him leave work. The police officer then walked right by him and into the building. She didn’t stay long and soon came out, got in her car, and drove away. Naturally I thought it was safe for Asparagus to go back in, right? Wrong! He was arrested by an invisible force as soon as he entered the warehouse. rawr.

Bambi: -coughsplutter-he's almost naked!

Not quite darling, not even close. Keep your eyes off Aki and on your husband.

Bambi: Where'd he go? Ugh, and when did Mr. Bloom become not hot?

It’s called aging, Bambi. You’ll get old one day too. She has so much to learn, like when to go and take a shower. le sigh.

Meanwhile, our friendly Afton went home with Sterling Bachelor after school. Apparently he wasn’t that interested in hanging out with her though because he immediately left the house, leaving Afton no choice but to watch a TV for the first time ever.

Ari knew it was his last day living at home. See evidence below:

Ari: You don't want to move me out, do you? I'm awesome.

He is proving to be pretty awesome – this was the first time his party animal trait ever showed itself. I have a hunch that story progression will be nice to him though so I moved him out after his dance with Blair.

Afton: Mom said I had to bring a quote unquote friend home. -eye roll-

It’s confirmed: friendly sims aren’t necessarily friendly. Why don’t you have any friends outside of your family, Afton??

We’ll try Aki’s hand at befriending-dom. A new girlie moved into town so Asparagus decided to take his brother with him to welcome her.

Sugar: I don't even care that he's not talking to me. -swoon-

She’s super cute, right? I made her in CAS for another game awhile back, but thought they’d be a great match. Asparagus went home and they started autonomously talking. Yay!

Ahaha. She may look freaked out by Aki’s crazy ramblings but she’s just pretending. She’s insane too, it’s perfect! My plans are to invite her over a couple times and try to get them at friend status…and then move him into her house. Maybe by doing that I can force some story progression babies to happen? Who knows, its worth a shot.

He left to go home because he was sleepy.

Aki: Why on earth is she screaming? I just wanted to go to bed.

Asparagus: Dad! What do I do?!

Yes, Bambi went into labor and the older set of twins was visiting. She and Aki made eyes at each other.

Parkin: Boys, stop it. She's just having the baby. Asparagus, take your wife to the hospital.

Good thing Parkin remained calm having been through four labors with Blair.

Aloysius: Hey Dad, mind if I join you?

Parkin: Eh, I think I’m done.

Seriously, he stopped playing chess and went in to bed. Sad.

But here’s something happy!

Bambi gave birth to a baby girl named Blythe. Her favorite color is violet just like her Daddy and I think she might have her Mommy’s purple eyes. Get ready for a house full of purple and violet!

Asparagus: I wanted a boy.

Asparagus: Hey! She kind of looks like me!

I don’t think we can really tell yet, but she is definitely blue.

Blythe: That's not my daddy!

Little Blythe is quite popular in the Bloom household, it seems like everyone wants to take care of her.

Bambi though…well she pretty much just plays the guitar.

Aki: Lookit I can be cute too!

Wow, this is the first time that anyone has pulled a bear out of their inventory. Seriously, they all have one. Think he wants to stay in the house? But what about Sugar? and story progression Aki babies? Hmmm…

I knew that it was coming, yet never got around to backing up my files. I attempted to use my boyfriend’s external drive but I didn’t have privileges to write – maybe a PC/Mac issue. In another attempt to back up my sims, I turned to the exchange but hardly any of them would upload. So all of my sims stuff + personal photos and art appear to be gone.

A new hard drive is on the way so I’ll get everything reinstalled next week. Nick (the boyfriend) seems to think he can recover files from the old drive so please keep your fingers crossed for me.

I apologize though if the Nobles and the Blooms are gone forever.

The very next day, I had my perfect opportunity – Avery was going home with the girl in the background there (hooray for story progression!) so it was only fitting that the other boys not get on the bus.

I am pretty sure that the boys realize what happened…that they weren’t chosen to carry on the Bloom lineage.

Aloysius probably took it the worst and chose to sit on the bench outside of the school looking beyond peeved at his life. Aki took it in stride, making his way over to the park to play some chess. Meanwhile at his new friend’s house, Avery relaxed on a king size bed for hours. It seems as though his days of trying to impress me are so so over.

Something strange happened during the day that day while Parkin was home alone. In Sims 2, I remember neighbors and townies stopping over and ringing the bell so much that it was annoying. It had yet to happen during my Sims 3 gameplay time…BUT THEN Parkin’s old friend Bebe Hart showed up. He didn’t answer the door so I have no idea what she wanted…was she there on police business? or to say she was all grown up now? Weird.

Blair was still being her normal self – interrupting her offspring while they were trying to skill.

At least she’s temporarily moved on from making silly faces.

Awww, Mommy & Daddy Parkin love to hug their little girl.

As many of you probably know, the law enforcement and journalism careers require reports to advance. But then again, maybe not? Blair has surpassed my expectations and been promoted to an undercover something or other even though she’s never written a report. Maybe it just takes longer without it.

Blair: I'm not so sure what I'm undercover as...but I like this dress!

Parkin is still cooking all on his own.

Parkin: Yeah...why wouldn't I cook?

With legacies of any kind, you get lots and lots of birthdays…and I’m not ashamed to say that they’re my favorite part. I love seeing how the genetics mix.

Tonight is a big milestone for one of our simmies, who’s skinny arm and black dress could that be?

All six kiddos turned up to cheer their Mum on into her elder years. She chose a dress that accentuated her boniness and dyed her hair back to a shade of blond while leaving some gray highlights.

After the party, Asparagus went out to the weight machine to see if he could pack some muscle on quick because he had big plans for the next day…someone to impress.

And impress he did!

Bambi agreed to be an exclusive couple – and an adorable one at that!

Today was a day for more birthdays and Parkin decided he wanted to pick up a guitar while he could still learn new tricks.

Parkin: Smoke on the wa-terrr...

Before he turned grey,  he joined his family in the great room for Afton’s 13th birthday party.

Afton kept the same look but begged her parents for some colored contacts. She was getting pretty could at persuading people with her newly acquired ambitious trait.

It turns out that Parkin’s elder birthday wasn’t until the following day, giving him that much more time to enjoy his youth. But when the time came, he didn’t complain.

Aww, his muscle-y physique is no more. Sad. The gray hair didn’t look too fabulous with his blue skin tone so Blair quickly dyed his hair in the kitchen sink.

Then it was time for Avery and Aloysius to grow up, and in proper twinly style they approached their cakes together.

Avery grew up quite handsomely:

He added charismatic to his previous traits (insane, workaholic, genius, artistic) and decided he wanted to be a world renowned surgeon.

My dear Aloysius wasn’t so lucky…

ahaha. I’m not sure what happened there but I fixed it!

There. I think he’s super stinkin cute. He added family oriented to his list of traits (insane, good, hydrophobic, and hopeless romantic) and decided he wants to be surrounded by family. Hopefully the timestream will give him just that.

Yes, I’m feeding them to the timestream but not after one last night in their childhood beds in their childhood home. -tear-

Blair: I'm going to miss you son, you are knowledgable of the fact that you are my favorite child aren't you? Call me!

After securing them each a job, I moved them out into their own houses. One lives next door and the other lives across the street.

And with room in the house (the option didn’t show up when the house was full), Asparagus was finally able to pop the question.

Asparagus: Bambi my sweet, will you knowingly join my insane family?

Bambi: Put it on put in on!! Asparagus: Wait, you do know that we're all insane right? and destined to have insane children of our very own?

More birthdays!

Aki is now an insane genius who is artistic, musically inclined and a loner. He decided that he wanted to be a master of the arts awhile back.

Ari is an insane, excitable party animal who is easily impressed with a new green thumb to match his favorite color. Oh yes, he now wants to be super popular. Strange…he seems so shy -shrug-

While Blair snagged some cake (where does it go?!), Asparagus and Bambi exchanged rings.

And shortly thereafter made their marriage official.

His favorite color is violet and hers is purple so readers beware, a purple house-makeover may soon take place.

Her co-workers at the spa gave her a snazzy makeover as a wedding gift. Welcome Bambi Bloom! She is a brave, good couch potato who hates the outdoors and is sometimes hot-headed. Fun. She wants to be a chess legend but that won’t be happening, sorry dear. She brings 2 logic, 3 fishing, 2 guitar skills and a book titled French Totast, French Fries, and French Kissing to the table.

Bring on the B babies!

Yes, he finished up that painting! And even read a whole book – I forget which. Quite impressive Avery darling…but you’re not blue…and you’re too much of a suck-up. That and I think you’ll be fine on your own, so I’m sorry but you’re out of the running.

Mother Blair sought revenge on her favorite son by telling him to the do the dishes.

Avery: Sorry Mum, I'm much too tired -yawn-

There was actually quite a bit of complaining/insulting going on in the Bloom household during this play period.

Evidence: A

Aloysius has had enough of the dirty dishes left all over the fricking place. Afton does not want to hear it…she just wants nachos. I wasn’t aware there were nachos in this game…

Oh, and Avery is still Blair’s favorite.

Evidence: B

Asparagus wants lil’ sis to help clean up the house every once in awhile. Aki does not seemed pleased by this request…I think that he feels only he is privy to disliking Afton. It seems everyone is picking on the poor dear…especially Asparagus…

Asparagus: You are such a baby, Afton. Literally and figuratively.

I’m not entirely sure what her reaction was…but it was not good.

Asparagus: Whoa there, I'm sorry, I'm sorry! I TAKE IT BACK!

Any ideas what she said?

Blair isn’t one to be left out of the action…

Afton: You want me to take out the trash? Umm no?

Don’t worry though, there was still love and affection in the Bloom house.

Aren’t Parkin and Blair sweet? I certainly think so, but Ari is disgusted by his parents’ behavior. Psh, sorry Ari but you’re out of the running too.

The boy who once tried hiding his homework in the fridge is now doing it willingly, can you believe that?

I love the blue Bloom boys…and Aloysius.
Aki really pulled out all the stops trying to impress me.

Yes!! First time he’s painted and played the guitar – hello my future master of the arts!

I noticed that our favorite girl in the ‘hood had aged up into a young adult, so I told Parkin to invite her over asap for a little recon.

Parkin: I need to know, for the benefit of all of my sons, are you in a serious relationship with anyone?

Luckily for the Bloom boys, Bambi is single. Thank goodness, I couldn’t break up any engagements or marriages. I was happy with this news…until I saw this:

This of course had me thinking that Bambi does not like Asparagus. But then! Only a few minutes later!

That happened. I was taking a photo of Asparagus playing the guitar (hoorah!) when I noticed Bambi totally checking him out as she walked to the bathroom. Thank you mirror!

He didn’t talk to her though, one of the others did and it took me by surprise.

Ari: I know I'm a lot y-y-younger than you, but I think you're cute I mean attractive. ::blush::

That night Asparagus got a little surprise of his own while washing the dishes (good boy!).

Asparagus: Wait, what's going on? What's happening to me?!

Asparagus: This ain't so bad, I'm quite smexy.

I approve! Okay, so he basically looks the same..haha. Someone suggested earlier that he was a neurotic sim in the making and so voila! Asparagus’s final trait is just that, making him insane, clumsy, neat, flirty and neurotic…fun fun fun. Guess what he wants to be now that he’s all growned up? The emperor of evil of course, what else? The other options pretty much just sucked.

Parkin: teehee, I saw a star and it winked at me!

After a trip to the dresser and the purchase of a nifty weightlifting machine, a scrawny violet wearing Asparagus found the new item and worked out into the early hours of the following morning.

The rest of the boys really started feeling the pressure now.

Aloysius: Oh you caught me! I was just washing dishes..I think I'll go read a book and water the plants next.

The blonde boys challenged one another to a quick game of chess before the bus came.

And Afton decided to use the telescope instead of just thinking about it.

Afton: What an ugly looking fencepost!

The kiddos went off to school Asparagus slept in, waking up to an empty house.

Hey Asparagus! Where are ya goin dude?

Asparagus: Well you want me to be the emperor of evil, right?

After securing a job at the warehouse, he moseyed around until dark. The one think he did was call a friend from school named Horace. Horace is pretty cute actually…maybe I’ll invite him around for Afton to meet.

Back at the house that evening, Aki whipped out his inventory custom made guitar.

He is pure awesome. Unfortunately, he looks too much like his dad whereas Asparagus is a nice mix and entertaining to boot. And so…

-drumroll please-

The torch is passed on to Asparagus.

The first item on the agenda: Bambi Dillon. I know it’s late, but she needs to be invited over. now.

Afton: Don't mind me...just checking out these new lights...

She does not respond well to our flirty advances, and runs off pretty much immediately. drat.

Will Bambi warm up to Asparagus? or will we need to settle for someone else? And how will the rest of the A’s handle the early passing of the torch?

So I chose the park, as it’s a pretty elementary public place with lots of things to do and different people to meet. Parkin dropped them off and went on to work.

And this is what they did..for hours and hours. I wanted to scream! They stood in a group on the grass and did nothing. Notice the freaking sun setting?

Even when Nick Alto up and died in the restroom (what was Morgana Wolff doing in there with him??), none of my boys ran to see the Grim Reaper or even mourned the dude!

But then, in the dark of night…

Ari broke away and found the swingset! Yahoo! He swung his little heart out until Daddy came back for them. It was then that I decided Parkin should assist Aki in his wish of visiting the art gallery and Ari decided to follow along.

Aki: Impressive, impressive but I don't like how I'm the only one in here..

Afton: I can pwoop all by myself!

I think it was early the next morning when a pajamafied Aloysius approached an equally pajamafied Blair which came as an absolute shock to me.

Aloysius: Hi Mom, I'm your son Aloysius. Ya know, the one you stuck in the high chair 24/7? Well I just wanted to say that I'm really a good guy, no trouble...and I look the most like you if that accounts for anything? K bye!

Later that day, I fulfilled Parkin’s wish of throwing a party. He probably didn’t appreciate it though when I invited three teenage girls instead of any of his friends. Ah well, these boys need some interaction with the opposite sex.

Bambi and Asparagus seemed to be hitting it off..

But then again, maybe not? The Ursine girl is laughing at Asparagus…I do not like you Ursine girl. See?! I even forgot your name. Ha.

At the end of the part, she makes a mad dash out of Aloysius’s room. What in the world were those two doing in there? I don’t think I was paying any attention..darn it. I still don’t like you Ursine girl!

Blair: You're being awfully mean to that girl.

Yes, she doesn’t seem like a very nice girl, okay Blair? Do you really want your sons associating with her?  Oh, look at you! I’ve never seen you help out with xylophone skilling, it’s cute! Please, continue on.

And then in the blink of an eye, the youngest set of twins turned all sparkly and turned into muscle-y teenage boys.

Aki

Aki definitely looks like he has rock-star potential, so he received the proper virtuoso trait and a birthday gift of a guitar which has been placed in his backpack. Another was set in the living room just in case anyone else wants to give it a shot.

Ari

Ari’s eyes didn’t agree with contacts so he had to keep his glasses. I think he looks rather bookish but tough, no? He looks older than he actually is which is weird. His new trait was insane. I know…I totally messed up with him and rolled his traits when he was born and was planning on giving him the insane trait during the transition to childhood…but he didn’t accomplish everything as a toddler so he had the party animal trait locked in then. Yeah. But he’s insane now!

And one of the first things that a hormonal, teenaged Aki does the next morning…

Like father like son, eh?

They all went off to high school and one of them brought the lovely Bambi home! I have plans for her if you couldn’t tell.

Asparagus: Mother, don't be upset..but this is me mocking your intelligence.

He’s going rogue again. Aloysius did something naughty as well:

Aloysius: Oh no!

That’s right dear, I caught you. Now tell me why you’re digging in the trash?

Parkin fulfilled his lifetime wish of raising 5 babies to teenagers!! And with that came a shiny new reward.

Parkin: Work da**it.

Hmmm, no need for cursing Mr. Bloom. But it looks as though he was successful in doing something to Avery because look at this:

Avery never cleans! He asks his Mom to clean, remember? Haha. Maybe he just decided it was time to start sucking up to me again. Guess what special day today is??

Afton: Celly phone fo my birfday Daddy?

Would you look at that, cute little Afton is asking for a cell phone for her birthday. And that happens to be today! Are you going to be able to handle a girl, Parkin?

He says yes and before he brings Afton to her cake, he needs to make a quick trip to the Dillons household where Aloysius is visiting Bambi after school.

With Aloysius cured of his stink and his tiredness, Parkin returns home.

Parkin: He is SO sucking up.

Oh my AH! Avery is working on his painting! Awesome! Time for sparklies!

The blocky face isn’t that attractive on little girls but she’s still cute, and now she’s officially friendly! Yay!

Aki: I'm making little sister some macaroni...

I don’t like that look at all Aki! You better be nice to your little sister. I mean it.

Ah, because Grandma Susan up and died on the front lawn. The other two elderly guests in attendance (Tamara Donner I think and some random who showed up) thought it was awesome and left saying what a rockin’ party it was. Oh my dears, your time to be greeted by the reaper will soon come too.

And Afton sparkles..

She looks a little unsure of the whole situation, but she’s cute. Her fave color is aqua so I take her to the dresser but she has hair approval from me! I was kind of hoping for a blue skin with blonde hair to see how the combo looks. shrug. P.S. Both sets of twins were born with acceptable hair as well.

The teens arrived home from school and Asparagus had the pleasure of meeting Grimmy. The Grim Reaper has never ever stuck around in my game by the way! So I was mucho pleased.

Grimmy: You, Asparagus Bloom, are a llama! *the excuse me look*

All the Grim Reaper wanted to do however was insult Asparagus…over and over. This meeting resulted in the Bloom’s first almost-enemy. Who better than the Grim Reaper though, eh?

I think she might be Parkin’s  clone with Blair’s eye color and someone else’s eye shape. I wonder how the square jaw will look as she ages…

I decide that Parkin should spend a little time with wifey’s favorite kid..he wanted to see what all the fuss was about though, honest. He rolled the wish to befriend Avery, as well as play a game with him so voila!

Parkin: Who's move is it again?

As the sun began to set, a super tired Ari dreams of being a policeman just like his Mommy and Asparagus decides to cook for the first time! Woo!

Blair went to bed early too, but this next photo reminds me…

That Blair HAS to but the babies in their cribs before she goes to bed. It drives me flipping crazy!! Afton isn’t tired at all, in fact she’s quite hungry..so I quickly order Parkin to attend to her before she wakes up Ari.

After a full night’s sleep, Ari wakes up around 4am and cleans the toilet. Aww, what a good little boy!

His twin wakes up a little bit later and starts to practice his chess moves. Aloysius tends the little garden that Parkin started – pure awesome!

How cute is that? Ari joined Aki for a game of chess. But then the school bus came and took all of the boys away. When it returned, it brought Bambi Dillon.

Asparagus: Wait, where are you going my love??

Aloysius: She’s quick, I need to work out if I’m ever going to impress her!

Avery: My brothers are silly, making Bambi fall for me would be so easy…not interested.

Aloysius almost immediately jumps on the treadmill. He’s so scrawny and cute and stuff – totally makes me smile.

The other one who makes me smile is Asparagus who caught up with Bambi. He looks so smitten with her and things seems to be going really well.

Until he freaks her out and she then ventures outdoors to play chess by her lonesome for the remainder of the evening.

Oh look! Why do you look so peeved, Blair?

Blair: My "favorite" son just told me to take the trash out..

Ahaha, seriously. Avery approached his mom in the bathroom and asked her to take out the trash. She looks so mad! You better watch out Avery, you might not be a favorite anymore.

Aki: This is disgusting. Tell me again why we can't have a maid?

Ari spent hours playing with dolls instead of hanging out with his brothers in the messy kitchen area.

He played so late that I ordered Parkin to tell him it was time for bed.

Just in case you didn’t notice the bed still in the living area, Ari and Aki are indeed still sharing space with Afton.

The following morning Asparagus and Aloysius (the two vying for Bambi’s love) decide to continue their quest to bulk up by throwing the football around.

Asparagus played catch a little too long though.

Darnit, that’s -5.

Meanwhile Aloysius has joined his twin for a game of chess where Avery admits that he hates the water. A-HA! He has a weakness after all! (I stupidly rolled their traits at birth, hence the hydrophobia. woops).

Stay tuned, it’s the weekend and Parkin and I decide that it’s about time for a family trip the park.
