Apologies for the absence of Parkin last chapter, you’re probably not aware that he got a haircut. It was an unfortunate necessity since his lovely Peggy style disappeared. As for those ears…I’ve put the packages back in but it looks as though the elf ears have also left the Bloom gene pool. sob. Any ideas on how to get them back?

Here’s Parkin meeting little Afton for the first time.

Parkin thinks she’s cute but is afraid he might squish her and Blair now thinks that she’s a llama. Or maybe she thinks that Parkin is a llama? Either way I think she’s a little upset that she’s no longer the only girl. But Blair, you wanted a little girl!

Asparagus: It's all your fault my Mom is sad!

Excuse me, but she looks pretty happy playing with her favorite red rocket. But Asparagus doesn’t believe me and takes cheering her up into his own hands.

Asparagus: So then the ghost jumps out an-how about I stop right there? I'm scaring myself.

Blair suggests that they go play some tag instead of telling ghost stories and meets him outside after a quick change of clothes.

Blair: This isn't as fun as with Avery..

Poor Asparagus. Well Blair, maybe you can play with him then since three of the younger boys all just got home from school?

Aloysius: My hand! It's speaking to me...this cannot be good.

Looks like Blair will have to wait to play with Avery because he already pulled out his homework. Did you notice that Ari didn’t come home from school? He had an appointment at the eye doctor’s and came home with some fancy new opticles.

Awww, ain’t he cute?? I think he needs his hair dyed to a solid color though since he will be keeping that hairstyle his whole life. Maybe I’ll work on that.

GAH! Blair!

Yep, she interrupted Avery doing his homework to make silly faces. I think Aki is telling Afton that she better not wake him up again…or else.

In a battle for his Mother’s love (or mine?), Asparagus picks up a sponge and goes to work on the nasty stove. It’s about time. You’re making me happy, please continue.

And Aki has realized that he can’t hide his homework in the fridge or anywhere else for that matter, it’s just one of those things that needs to be done.

Aki: No, I'm really just erasing a blank page. My goal is to make a hole that goes through the entire notebook.

Well crap, he almost had me fooled.

Bedtime rolled around and I knew two people who needed to have some fun..

Just some regular ol’ woohooing. They’ll both probably be a little upset when it doesn’t result in a new baby, seeing as they’re both flipping crazy and want to have another baby. Not in this lifetime guys.

Baby Afton woke up the little twins again, but luckily Asparagus was still awake and quick to the rescue.

Oh Ari, lighten up! Your little sister is just a baby, she doesn’t deserve that evil glare. Maybe you’ll like her when you’re older like Asparagus…he seems to like her just fine.

Ari: Yeah but he doesn’t have to share a room with her, does he?

Eh, good point. Tell your parents to make some more money so you and Aki can have your own room.

The following morning, birthday boys Avery and Aloysius decided to impress me by using the little oven. Of course Avery beat his twin to it since he’s only like the best at everything. le sigh.

Since Parkin scheduled a party for that evening, Blair decided that a little cleaning was in order. It’s not every day you see her with a sponge…

Blair: My mother is coming.

Hmmm, your mother doesn’t really seem like the type to get all upset and speechy about cleanliness. Oh well, thanks for cleaning the shower!

She then continued to surprise me by sitting down and reading a book while waiting for the boys to get home from school.

Parkin greeted the guests Tamara Donner (floozie!) and Bambi Dillon. Remember the cute little girl who’s mother had that awful skirt? That’s Bambi, age teen. Parkin is also friends with her older sister Kyra(something like that) who you may remembr helping out with the boys when they were babies. Anywho, Bambi thinks that Parkin is hott with two t’s.

I actually got the boys to go to their cakes together!! That’s a first for me and I’m rather excited about it.

Afton lets everyone know that she's there too.

I love Aloysius, he’s so freaking cute. He, like Asparagus, is super twig-like skinny just like Blair. I gave him the hopeless romantic trait in hopes of him finding a chica all on his own. Is that possible?

Leave it to Avery to grow up all buff and stuff just like his Dad. He acquired the artistic trait…maybe that will motivate him to finish that painting he started.

Parkin decided to play a little catch with Ari before bed since he needed some cheering up. Apparently some kids at school had teased him about his new glasses. jerks.

The twins did something odd that night.

Neither of them properly went to bed. This photo was taken at around 5:00AM, with Avery napping and a putrid Aloysius resting. What the hey boys?? This is rather inefficient for you two over achievers! Rebellious teens at their finest I guess.
