Finding a Match

First thing’s first – Parkin needed a place to live so I moved him into this cute little number with a bunch of flamingos.

I decided to see what Parkin’s first move would be free-will style. Remember that Parkin is the only sim that I’ll be able to control until one of his future children receives the honor.

Wow Parkin, that’s your first move? Kicking over one of your flamingos? I’ll take the reigns from here thank you. He rolled the want to get a job in the law enforcement career so naturally I sat him down with the newspaper and found him a job as a snitch. Founders need money!

Oh look! The Sunset Valley welcoming party is here! Any female companion prospects?

..and the huge, pointy schnoz. GAH! Oh well, at least it lead to some acquaintences.

Being a natural cook, I thought it was important to get him some cooking points. They’ll come in handy while making meals for his future familly so I had him prepare a delicious lunch for himself. The law career calls for logic points so I sent Mr. Bloom down to the park where he played chess with Leighton Sekemoto for the remainder of the evening until he came home to cook dinner for one.

After work the next day I sent him to the gym to fulfil his want to watch the Cookin Channel. Who’s that working out to the radio?

It’s Bebe Hart and she’s pretty cute so I send Parkin in for the kill. Uhhh, why is she so much shorter?

Bebe: I'll grow up soon stud!

I think Parkin was a little disappointed in her, maybe me? I sent him home to make dinner and bought him chess table to play some more chess.

After work the next day I see a woman in a police uniform – coworker!! Parkin needed to go introduce himself and see what she looked like up close.

Eh, not what I’m looking for. So far Parkin is girlfriendless not to mention jsut plain friendless…except for his partner at work!? At this point I remember that there’s a beaming green smiling face in the work tab next to partner but I don’t even know who it is. So I go to look and it’s Blair Wainwright and her little icon looks super cute!

Get home right now Parkin and invite her over!!

She is a freaking doll! He goes right for the invite inside since they’re already good firends. I soon catch her in the bathroom being adorable..

I want her I want her! I want her in my challenge! I hope Parkin likes her in that romantic way but oh well if he doesn’t..we need to start on his LTW of seeing 5 children grow into teens.

I told Parkin to say goodnight when he was getting tired and lookit! Aww, Blair likes Parkin! <3

Alright Parkin it’s time to choose a girlfriend so you’re throwing a party. Bebe Hart is there and all grown up so is the girl with cute hair from the welcoming party, cowboy hat lady that he met at the park and….and some old guy who brought a guitar. yep.

It didn’t take Parkin (or me) long to decide who to choose and of course she said yes.

Time for the first kiss – banner pic!! I think that I love them together already.

Okay so the next day, I tell Parkin to ask his new girlfriend on an official date to the Bistro.

She likes to read I guess, that’s cool. Oh yeah, I also told Parkin to propose and then immediately plan a wedding party. It took Blair forever to get to the waterfall! Seriously I thought she was going to ditch her own wedding – she was over an hour late!

But she made it and the exchanged vows in the formalwear they deemed appropiate -eye roll-. Then they kissed as newlyweds (only kiss #2) in front of Parkin’s pseudo-friends.

Blair’s traits are : Loner, Good, Genius, Hopeless Romantic & Childish
She has two parents! Hooray for future grandparents! They should come in handy as future, unofficial “babysitters” and I am mucho excited about that.

Awww, they slept all cute and cuddly together on their first night together!

And then Blair was throwing up the next morning. Hey, I can’t waste any time getting this challenge started.

I really think that Blair is going to be a great mother, she even serves meals all by herself!

Parkin is going to be a great dad. His whole queue is filled up with Blair&baby related wants on a consistent basis. I’m so proud!

He looks kind of creepy here though..hmmm. You can kind of see his elf ears! yay! Did I mention that Parkin has been promoted to the point where he needs to start writing reports? So he dug through their neighbors’ trash who happen to be the Alvis.

That last picture is only so you can see how beautiful the view is from their front yard…I love mountains. I want some of those in Nebraska now please, stat.

I guess Parkin objected to my last request. That or Blair is just giving birth to their first child and he’s freaking out a little bit.
